Kemarin, PVRIS secara resmi telah merilis lagu baru, dan benar-benar baru, bukan hanya video dari album White Noise 2014. Lagu ini berjudul “You And I”, musik video yang ditampilkan pun cukup lumayan daripada beberapa video musik yang dirilis membabi-buta kayak kemarinnya lagi.
Single You And I bakal digabungin di album versi terbaru White Noise Deluxe Edition (2016).
Saat melantunkan lagu ini dalam sebuah live show, Lynn Gunn mendapatkan komentar dari vokalis Paramore, Hayley William, memuji penampilan PVRIS dan video musiknya.
“You’re an absolute badass,” tulis Hayley Williams tweet kepada Lynn Gunn, “and your band sounds better than ever. Love the new video.”
Dalam sebuah sesi second annual APMAs, Gunn bertemu Williams, dan ia mengatakan bahwa dirinya adalah penggemar berat Paramore
“I won’t lie, I’m a very big Paramore fan, and I met Hayley and she said some very nice things and we had a nice little talk. That was definitely the highlight.” kata Lynn
Ternyata, kedua band alternative yang digawangi oleh female rockstar ini sangat akur. Bahkan kedua musisi tersebut saling memberikan pujian satu-sama lain.
“It was really cool to see Lynn Gunn. I love that [PVRIS are] killing Warped Tour right now. I’m watching from afar a little bit. It’s nice that there’s another girl that sings really strongly over guitars, and it’s really translating from stage well. I was—oh my God, I almost said I was ‘gunning’ for her, and then I realized her last name is Gunn. That was so cheesy!” punkas Hayley.
