Simple plan menyebut bahwa mereka sudah siap untuk melakukan tour pertama mereka dalam mempromosikan album terbaru Taking One For The Team. Negara-negara di Eropa adalah tujuan pertama mereka dan juga tak sabar melihat respon fans saat mendengar album baru tersebut.

Taking One for the Team merupakan album kelima band asal Kanada ini, dan dirilis melalui Atlantic Records. Simple plan terhitung sudah cukup lama tidak merilis album baru setelah Get Your Heart On! di tahun 2011, yep, sekitar lima tahun.
