A little message for all those who think this is an “awful” song or “a pop” song because of the story of the girl. Got news for you! It’s exactly a critic of the music industry.
You must read or at least listen to the lyrics: “the temple” used to be the record house, but the devil just came inside and damage everything with this kind of empty songs that sells millions of copies just for the naked girl in the cover of the album – and that’s exactly the message of the song: what is happening here?
And for me is a mature album, with great songs and a great producer! And yes, perhaps we all miss Richie, but life goes on, and Bon Jovi is not only him, so you have in front of you a great album, with amazing songs, and great sound!
