Dibentuk pada awal tahun 2013, band post-hardcore yang berasal dari di Sydney, Australia membuat langkah awal yang menggebrak ketika merilis single pertama “Infamita” pada bulan Juni 2013. Terbukti mereka langsung berangkat untuk tour bareng Deez Niuts, Attila dan Every Time I Die sebelum merilis debut album “Die Young” dibulan September.
Menggabungkan musik : aggressive, hardcore-influenced guitar work, punk rock melodicism, frenzied percussion dan perform unik yang ditampikan frontman Dre Faivre.

Hellions disejajarkan dengan beberapa band hardcore dari Australia, diantaranya Parkway Drive, The Amity Affliction, Northlane, dan Hans Like Houses.
Selanjutnya, penggarapan album kedua “Indian Summer” diproduseri oleh Shane “Buddha” Edwards. Hellions melakukan rekaman di Karma Sound Studios, Thailand. Album dirilis tahun 2015.
Album cukup menantang, adventurious. Tidak puas dengan banyak musik heavy hari saat ini, Dre, Anthony, dan Matthew memilih untuk menarik suara yang menginspirasi mereka di tempat pertama, yakni menyalurkan alur dan kekuatan Rage Against The Machine, dipadukan dengan style ala My Chemical Romance. Uniknya, Indian Summer mempertahankan ketenangannya dan dideskripsikan sebagai controlled chaos. Catchy, aggressive and visually engaging.
