Sang vokalis Deryck Whibley nampaknya sudah sehat 100%, bahkan beberapa waktu yang lalu ia sudah tampil 3 kali dalam waktu 6 hari. Itu menjadi penampilan pertamanya setelah dua setengah tahun terakhir dan tanpa bersama Sum 41.
Butuh mental dan fisik prima untuk melakukannya, Deryck mulai belajar lagi banyak hal, mulai dari cara bernyanyi lagi, cara memainkan gitar, cara berjalan atau bahkan berdiri selama lebih dari 10 menit tanpa rasa sakit dan jatuh.

i write about my life. the dark times and the bright. i love playing heavy fast aggressive music. sometimes i write some slower songs too like pieces or with me. i would expect it to sound like the next logical step from the last record but not sound like it’s ripping off SBM. it’s more like the sibling of the previous album, if that makes any sense. it’s going to have all sorts of moods to it. it’s not finished yet but i have some big ideas still. very excited!!
