Setahun yang lalu, Funeral for a friend memulai debut album ‘Chapter and Verse’ 2014 melalui sebuah single berudul “You’ve got a Bad Case of the Religions” dalam Rock Show di BBC Radio 1. Kemudian merilis album tersebut pada tanggal 19 Januari 2015. Hanya perlu waktu dua pekan untuk menggarap album ini di Southampton yang diproduseri oleh Lewis Johns.
Dan pada 14 September 2015, Funeral For A Friend mengumumkan bahwa mereka ‘break up’ alias bubar setelah menyelesaikan tour mereka di Australia, Jerman, dan akan berakhir di Inggris pada bulan Februari sampai april 2016.
